Van Holten’s story began in 1898 in Milwaukee, when Dutch immigrant, Jerry G. Van Holten, had a dream to create his own successful business by becoming a vinegar distributor. Pretty soon, he expanded and added sauerkraut andpickle products! It wasn’t long until the Van Holten family developed the original Pickle-In-A-Pouch in 1939.
